Care Before Crisis

All of our support volunteers identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ family, and are here to provide the entire people, by providing free & confidential peer-support, information, and local resources through national hotlines and online programs.

11 AM - 8 PM/pacific time

9 AM - 2 PM/pacific time

Rainbow Community Center builds collective, equity, & well-being among Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Gender diverse, Queer, Questioning, Intersex, asexual or agender, and two-spirit (LGBTQIA2S+) people & our allies.

Since , we possess been offering support & social opportunities to the LGBTQIA2S+ community & its allies.

Older Adult Programs

Provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ older adults to accumulate, socialize, & create a supportive community. Our seniors are more likely than their straight & cisgender peers to be isolated. We aim to multiply support, help address internalized homophobia & shame, & ensure access to a supportive network of peers.

    This 50+ support community is a dynamic gathering planned for individuals over the age of 50 who want to explore new activities, learn fresh skills, and enjoy camaraderie.

    Through a variety of engaging events and classes provided by Tidewater Arts Outreach, members can stay active, discover new passions, and create lasting friendships in a entertaining and supportive atmosphere. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with others while embracing personal expansion and shared experiences.
