Pride in Prog: An LGBT+ Artist Showcase

From Left to Right: Flummox, Empire Bathtub, Azure, Lucas De La &#;Lulu&#; Rosa, Shelby Logan Warne, Alustrium, Victory Over The Sun, Faye Fadem, Max Mobarry

All of the musicians and bands have links to their music or merch stores. I more than encourage you to verify out the bands, offer them a listen if you haven&#;t already, and then send some capital their way this self-acceptance month by buying their music.

Queen’s guitarist, Brian May, also stated in a interview: “I know that all through his being Fred didn’t assess that whether he was gay or not was important.”

Ryan Butcher, editor of LGBT website PinkNews, also stated: “It wasn’t just about sexuality with him; it was about his whole self and the extravagant persona he projected on stage, which is one of the main things Queen is established for.”

Why he inspires us: Freddie was not only a global rock song icon for the world and an inspiration for the LGBTQI+ community, he was also famous for being a huge cat lov
