On 27 November, former Lioness Jill Scott once again made herstory. She became the first openly LGBTQIA woman to win the actual world show, Im A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, and the second LGBTQIA person after Christopher Biggins was crowned in
Presenters Ant and Dec confirmed that the majority of the 12 million votes were for Jill, Owen Warner (Hollyoaks) came second and Conservative MP Matt Hancock came third.
On winning, Jill said: I’m totally in shock to be honest, I don’t know why everybody voted but just a massive substantial thank you and just so honoured to be the queen of the Jungle.
Following her victory, viewers got to see Jill reunited with her companion Shelley Unitt on the bridge. One Twitter user wrote: jill bringing it home for the second time.
There have been many Jill highlights across this season, but in her closing episode LGBTQIA jokes flooded the internet following the terminal challenge where Jill had to utilize her tongue to spin a celestial body and win.
