Gay life mykonos
Mykonos is the gay hotspot of Greece and for good reason!
We fell in love with Mykonos during our first visit with it’s iconic cobbled streets, alabaster washed building, pristine beaches, culinary delights and vibrant gay scene – it really was a mini gay paradise.
It’s also incredibly stylish, trendy and caters skillfully to those who like their luxury. You can expect to see many expensive yachts cruising around the island and equally many attractive guys also cruising around the island!
Mykonos has been known as a gay destination for years and home to one of the largest and most well-known gay circuit parties each August, Xlsior Mykonos, which draws crowds of over 30, gay men!
Party scene aside, Mykonos is a picturesque and relaxing island. If you are looking for an idyllic island getaway, we highly recommend.
In our lgbtq+ Mykonos guide we will participate everything you need to realize, from the best gay beaches and gay bars, gay hotels, excursions, gay events and some practical tips for planning you trip.

During the s, former US First Lady Jackie Onassis visited the island. Visits by Grace Kelly, Sophia Loren, and Brigitte Bardot came next.
In the s, Italian-American painter Pierro Aversa and fisherman Andreas Koutsoukos established "Pierro's", the first LGBTQ+-friendly bar.
The island comprises a destination for gay individuals ever since.
Today, it attracts millions of gay tourists who seek refuge in the island's breathtaking natural panorama and warm and hospitable people.
Mykonos has built an enviable reputation as an LGBTQ+ bastion. The international gay collective began to pour out in at the island during the s as a place where they could find some respite from the world's stereotyped views on homosexuality. The best thing about Mykonos is that, despite the burgeoning growth of mass tourism, which also includes LGBTQ+ tourism, much of the island's landscape has remained

About Mykonos and its gay life
Mykonos is a Greek island in the Aegean Sea and part of the Cyclades island team. In the summer months, the island's population of about ten thousand is joined by many sun-seeking beach holidaymakers who arrive to the – now quite expensive – island by ferry or plane.
The island's capital, Mykonos Town (also called ›Chora‹), located on the west coast, is particularly fascinating for its architecture typical of the Cyclades: white houses with smooth roofs, decorated balconies and colored windows and wooden doors. Other landmarks of the capital as good as the island are the old windmills ›Kato Mili‹, the ›Panagia Paraportiani‹ church and the picture
