San Diego’s biggest celebration of diversity and inclusion is calling your name! San Diego Event returns to Balboa Park with collective resources, queer-owned businesses, and multiple amusement zones.

Pride is more than a moment—it’s a movement. San Diego Pride continues after the march and festival. Our registered c3, non-profit organization provides support, community programs, and philanthropic efforts year-round. Your participation in our events fuels this ongoing work. Together, we erect a brighter future.

Note: Traveling as an LGBTQ+ person always carries a certain degree of risk. It is our reality as we navigate a planet with 60+ countries criminalizing our relationships and a rise in anti-LGBTQ+ legislation around the world. We encourage our traveling group to understand the laws and cultural challenges they may face in any destination they choose to check in for Pride and beyond. Don't be afraid of the world, but always research information specific to your travels. Enjoy Pride, be vigilant, and look out for each other! 


The LGBTQ+ rights movement has made tremendous strides over the past limited decades and much of the progress in representation is thanks in part to gay pride parades and marches that possess taken place in cities around the world.

Chicago Pride Fest

Chicago Pride Fest® is a two-day street festival on June , ; the weekend before the Chicago Self-acceptance Parade (June 29, ). The 24th annual Chicago Pride Fest is a celebration of Homosexual life, culture and community in Chicago’s landmark LGBTQ+ Northalsted neighborhood.

Pride Fest features live music on 3 stages, a Youth Celebration Space for teens, best of Chicago drag performance, the Arrogant Pet Parade with prizes, twirl exhibitions, Chicago Gay Men’s Chorus, guest speakers and over diet and merchandise vendors

A $20 suggested donation for entry helps pays performers and festival workers, and supports local non-profits & collective programs like the Chicago Celebration Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in that make up the longest installation of it’s kind in the world.
